Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

MCPWP is developed and maintained by DigID Inc. This privacy policy explains how the Plugin handles data.

1. Data Collection

MCPWP does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. The Plugin operates entirely within your WordPress installation.

2. API Keys

API keys generated by the Plugin are stored locally in your WordPress database (encrypted). We never have access to your API keys.

3. Third-Party Services

The Plugin may connect to external services only when you explicitly configure them: OpenAI (AI image/vision), Google Gemini (AI image/vision), ElevenLabs (text-to-speech), Pexels (stock photos), Figma (design files), Google Indexing API (URL submission), Cloudflare Workers (screenshots), PostHog (anonymous analytics when opted in). No data sent unless you configure and use the feature.

4. Plugin Updates

The Plugin checks for updates from mumega.com/mcp-updates/. This sends only your plugin version and WordPress version.

5. Activity Logging

When enabled, the Plugin logs API and MCP tool activity locally in your WordPress database. Logs are purged per your retention setting. No log data leaves your server.

6. Cookies and Data Retention

The Plugin does not set any cookies. All Plugin data is stored in your WordPress database and fully removed on uninstall.

7. Anonymous Usage Analytics

When enabled (WP Admin MCPWP Settings), the Plugin sends anonymous MCP tool usage to PostHog, Inc. Collected: tool names, success/failure, duration, plugin/WP/PHP versions. Not collected: content, user data, API keys, site URL. Identifier: random anonymous UUID in wp_options. Default: opt-in free tier, opt-out paid plans.
