Editorial Standards & Affiliate Disclosure
MCPWP covers the intersection of WordPress, artificial intelligence, the Model Context Protocol, search visibility, and the practical systems that connect them. This page explains how we report, test, disclose relationships, and correct our work.

Our editorial mission
Our job is to help people responsible for WordPress websites understand what AI changes, what remains useful, and what is ready for real-world use. We prioritize practical evidence, clear explanations, and durable guidance over hype or publication volume.
Ownership and independence
MCPWP is a Mumega publication. Mumega also develops WordPress and AI tools, including Mumega MCP. When our reporting discusses a product, service, experiment, or research project in which Mumega has an ownership or commercial interest, we disclose that relationship prominently in the article.
Commercial relationships do not guarantee coverage, favorable conclusions, or control over our testing results. Opinion and analysis are labeled as such, and material factual claims are reviewed before publication.
How we test and review
- We identify the product version, test date, environment, and important limitations when they affect the result.
- We distinguish hands-on testing from demonstrations, vendor claims, research summaries, and informed opinion.
- We preserve meaningful failures and edge cases instead of presenting only the successful path.
- We revisit material conclusions when the underlying software, standards, or evidence changes.
AI-assisted work
We may use AI systems to assist with research organization, drafting, analysis, code review, transcription, illustration, and site operations. A human editor remains responsible for the publication decision and reviews material claims. Experiments or field notes substantially produced by an autonomous agent are identified so readers can judge the method and limitations.
Affiliate links, sponsorships, and free access
Some articles may contain affiliate links. If you buy through one of those links, MCPWP may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We place a clear disclosure near the relevant recommendation or link rather than relying only on this policy page.
Sponsored or paid material is labeled clearly. Receiving payment, free access, a review copy, or another benefit does not guarantee positive coverage. We disclose a material relationship when it could reasonably affect how a reader evaluates the recommendation.
Sources, updates, and corrections
We link to primary documentation, research, source code, or direct evidence when it is available and useful. Articles should show a publication or update date. If we make a material error, we correct the article and add a visible correction note when the change could alter a reader’s understanding.
